Using Windows Sticky Notes

If you like keeping organized with sticky notes all over your desk and in your notebooks, you should try Sticky Notes in Microsoft Windows.

To get started, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Type ‘Sticky Notes’ in the search box.
  3. Right click the sticky notes item at the top (under the Programs section)
  4. Select ‘Send To’ and chose ‘desktop’ to add a shortcut to your desktop.

Once you have Sticky Notes on your desktop, just double click the new icon to create a new sticky note and type your note. Right click to change the color so you can color code your sticky notes.

You can add a new sticky note or delete the note using the icons at the top of the note.

If you want more features and functionality, search the internet for third party sticky notes applications and try them out.
